Hill Country Roofing, Inc. was founded in 1946 in Kerrville by Henry Covert. The business was called Covert & Sons Roofing & Sheet Metal. Henry was a close family friend of the Leinwebers and when he decided it was time to retire he offered the company to Bob Leinweber.

Bob took ownership and continued under the same name and office space. Henry remained close by, watching over and teaching Bob everything he knew about the business.

In 1979, Bob incorporated the business and changed the name to Hill Country Roofing, Inc. The business has been successful for 38 years. Hill Country Roofing, Inc. is the longest roofing member of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, over 20 years. Bob has also served as a director on the board of the Kerrville Chamber.

Brad was born and raised in Kerr County and began roofing alongside his grandfather, Bob, at a very young age. Starting out measuring for accurate replacement proposals, then moving up to completing small repairs on his own and helping crews when he had free time during summers and after school extra curricular activities.

After graduating from high school he began college at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi where he earned his bachelors degree. He then moved to Austin and got back into the roofing industry, becoming an Estimator and Safety Manager for a large roofing company.

Brad is now back home in Kerrville with his wife and children, and once again, working alongside his grandfather to help grow Hill Country Roofing, Inc. now and far into the future.
